JobKeeper Update as at 15 April

The application process and eligibility details are slowing starting to feed through from the ATO regarding JobKeeper payments. 

We now know that the 30% decrease in turnover required for businesses with less than $1 billion turnover, can be reported based on actual March figures or estimated April or April-June quarter figures. 

No further updates have been released in regards to sole traders, partnerships and trusts as yet. 

Enrollment application forms will be available on the ATO website from next week, and employees will be required to fill in an Employee Nomination Notice form for their employers. We will be getting in touch with all employers to distribute these forms to their eligible employees as soon as possible.

We are working as quick as we can to ensure everyone is up-to-date with their accounts, as we will need this information for the JobKeeper applications. If you have not yet sent through your details for the March quarter BAS, we would urge everyone to do this as soon as possible.

Please note, we have not yet seen an application form from the ATO so cannot guarantee what exact details will need to be lodged as part of the application process. 

We are working to get the information out to everyone as soon as new announcements are made, so please watch this space.
