Changes to the Small Business Super Clearing House

The way you access the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) has now changed. As of 26th February, the SBSCH is only available for access through one of the ATO online services. You will not be able to access the clearing house via the user ID and password authentication used prior to 26th February.

All of the data held in the old SBSCH system has been transferred over to the new system, including employee details, business bank account details and previous super contributions.

The new SBSCH can now be accessed by:

  • Using an Auskey – if you do not already have one, you can apply for one here
  • Using your myGov account and logging in to the Business Portal – through the Manage ABN Connections option

If we currently manage your superannuation contributions for you each quarter, at the same time as preparing your quarterly BAS, we can continue to do so via our online tax agent portal with the ATO.

The payment details for the new SBSCH system are different to the previous system. If you usually pay via BPAY please note that both the biller code and reference number has changed.

The new details are available in the Payment Options screen when completing a payment instruction for each super contribution. If we prepare the super contribution instruction for you, we will include the new payment details in our email notification.

Payment can now be made by credit card via the Government EasyPay service as well.
